California Native Plant Society’s Garden Tour

California Native Plant Society’s annual garden tour is in bloom. “Planting Animals” is this year’s theme, exploring how native plants support a wider ecosystem of wildlife. Wander lush landscapes and reconnect with nature in areas all over the county.

Get your wide-brimmed hats ready! SDM’s annual Brunch Bash at Carlsbad’s Omni La Costa Resort features unlimited eats, brunch cocktails, and craft coffee to start your Sunday right. Tickets are $80, include a mag subscription, and usually sell out fast, so act quickly.

They say once you know how to ride a bike, you never forget. For the sake of Annie Londonderry, a woman determined to circle the world on two wheels despite her very limited cycling experience, let’s hope so. Based on a true story, the side-splitting musical Ride arrives at the Old Globe in Balboa Park this month.

ArtWalk celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, making it the longest-running fine art festival in Southern California. Little Italy plays host to the stroll, which features 250 local, national, and international artists in just about every every medium, including painting, sculpture, glass work, photography, fine jewelry, and more.
